Definitions and acceptance
Bright Minds means BRIGHT MINDS EUROPE, the operator of this tutoring platform. Tutor means an adult who creates a teaching profile. Student Request means an enquiry concerning tutoring or a related educational service. Account means the tutor’s private access area and stored profile information.
Acceptance occurs when the tutor checks the agreement box during registration or continues using tutor services after being notified of an updated version. A tutor who does not accept the Agreement must not submit or operate a tutor profile.
The relationship between Bright Minds and the tutor
Bright Minds provides profile, discovery, enquiry, moderation, booking and administrative tools. Unless a separate written contract expressly states otherwise, tutors provide lessons independently and are responsible for how they teach, their availability and their tax or business obligations.
Bright Minds does not guarantee a particular number of students, lessons or income. A student and tutor must agree lesson details before teaching begins.
Platform services
Services may include profile publication, tutor search, matching, enquiries, messaging, verification, booking, notifications, payment or invoice support, reviews and administration. Availability may change as the platform develops.
Profile accuracy and verification
- Provide truthful, current information about identity, education, experience, subjects, price and availability.
- Upload only media you own and have permission to publish.
- Do not publish telephone numbers, email addresses, external advertising or misleading qualifications.
- Cooperate with reasonable identity, qualification, interview and moderation checks.
Bright Minds may correct formatting, request evidence, reject unsuitable media or decline publication where information is incomplete, misleading or unsafe.
Student requests and communication
A tutor should accept only requests they can reasonably fulfil, contact the student or parent promptly after assignment, record the agreed first lesson and update Bright Minds if the cooperation does not begin. Student contact details and request information are confidential and must not be passed to another person, school or platform.
Professional and safeguarding standards
Tutors must prepare appropriately, communicate respectfully, be punctual and teach within their competence. When working with a minor, organisational communication should involve the parent or legal guardian. Tutors must not discriminate, harass, use unsafe material or encourage academic dishonesty.
Platform fees, lesson payments and taxes
Any matching fee, commission, subscription or payment-processing charge must be disclosed before the tutor accepts the relevant paid service. Under the current review model, a one-time matching fee equals the student’s agreed weekly lesson value, with no two-lesson minimum. It becomes due after the first completed lesson, normally within seven days.
Tutors remain responsible for declaring income and meeting applicable tax, social-security and business-registration duties unless a separate signed agreement states otherwise.
Personal data, photographs and videos
Profile photographs and optional introduction videos may be displayed publicly after moderation. They must show only the tutor and must not reveal contact details, children, documents or third-party advertising. Processing follows the Bright Minds Privacy Policy.
Warnings, ranking and suspension
Bright Minds may reduce profile visibility, pause requests or suspend an account when there are repeated unanswered requests, outdated details, unjustified non-attendance, overdue platform fees, serious complaints, false information or safety concerns. Except for urgent safety or legal cases, the tutor should receive the reason and an opportunity to provide relevant information.
Changes and ending cooperation
Bright Minds may update these rules for legal, security or service reasons and will provide reasonable notice of material changes. A tutor may stop using the service and request account closure, subject to outstanding fees, active bookings, statutory records and unresolved complaints.
Questions and formal notices may be sent to info@brightszkola.pl. Polish law applies, without limiting mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.
This Agreement is an original Bright Minds operational draft. Before public launch, it must be reviewed by a Polish lawyer and completed with the operator’s registration details, confirmed fee model, dispute process and payment provider.
